Faith Like a Child...

This morning the girls and I were in the car on the way to school. As we turned out of our street we came upon the neighborhood pond. It was absolutely beautiful with the rain and the way the fog was lifting off the water. What was even more beautiful was the large number of Canadian geese floating on the water as the rain gently came down. As we slowly rode by, I noticed 2 geese on the other side of the road. As I looked at one I noticed he had an injured wing and mentioned it to Samantha. She looked at him and said, "Awwwww, Momma can we say a prayer for that goose? I am going to name him Monkey." I can not tell you how proud yet humbled I was at that moment to know that my 4 year old requested we pray for the injured animal. Oh to have the faith of a child again! So of course I complied and we said a prayer for Monkey and asked God to heal him. I must say that was a wonderful way to start my day!
