Catch Up...

It has been a while since we last posted and so much has happened. I am in the process of becoming a full-time stay-at-home mom and I am in the process of getting my Master's degree. In June, Martin and I went on a mission trip to Guatemala and had the experience of a lifetime. We were in the village of Monte Cristo for one week and we went with 11 others from our church and several churches in other surrounding counties. Our group worked on the village church installing doors and windows and we also provided a medical clinic for 2 days during the week. It was such an amazing adventure that words can not even begin to describe the experiences we had. One thing we both realized is how much God has blessed us and how much we take things for granted. The girls stayed with my mom and dad while we were away. Red had a blast with her cousin Will at summer camp. Meanwhile, P'nut went with mom and a friend to a petting ranch and she absolutely loved it! Thank you mom and dad for helping us out - we love you! The Sunday after we got home from Guatemala we dedicated P'nut at church. After we had about 20 people over to help us celebrate P'nut's dedication and Father's Day. By the way, I still think I have the best husband on the planet - hope you had a wonderful Father's Day Martin! I will post some photos when I have a little bit more time.
