This year was one of the most memorable for us. We spent the day together as a family talking, laughing, eating, and reminiscing. It was truly a time to reflect upon the true meaning of Christmas. Gandma and Papap came in on the 23rd and we baked cookies and decorated them to leave for the "pagan god of merchandise" (Santa) as one of our friends calls him. Christmas morning was a time for opening gifts and spending time as a family. After opening gifts we had the traditional breakfast casserole and then spent a few hours reading, talking, taking walks, and playing. Later in the afternoon Nana and Grandaddy came over to open gifts and eat dinner with us. There was nothing monumental in our gifts or events leading up to this day - just a wonderful day filled with family, fun, and faith. We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!
