Today was a hard day for Red as she was selected to change teachers late yesterday afternoon after already meeting the teacher she was originally assigned to. I had to tell her that she was a smart girl and that she would be able to help the teacher. I also told her to remember she was not the only student in this boat - all of the students in her class are! As a momma I was doing all I could not to shed tears for my oldest baby, but deep down in my heart I know she will do great.
As for Pnut - she went straight into her class and let everyone know she was there and it was her birthday! It was so great to see her go straight in with no tears only a big smile!
I am looking forward to seeing what this school year holds for both of our girls and I am praying God will use every experience to help them grow in Him!
