Samantha, Elizabeth, and I went to the beach this weekend to give daddy some man time with his friends. Our neighbors Linda and her son, Jack, joined us for the trip. We had a good time. Saturday we went to River City Cafe in Surfside and had some yummo burgers and fries while sitting outside and enjoying the ocean view. Then we went to the beach. This was the first time I have taken P'nut to the beach and she loved it. Needless to say she ate some of the sand but it didn't take much for her to realize that was not something she would like to keep on her menu! After the beach we went back to my parent's beach house and hung out. Then we decided to go shopping at the outlets. I bought some of the cutest matching outfits for Red and P'nut - I can't wait for it to get cold enough out for them to wear them. Sunday we relaxed for a while and then went to the pool. After we packed up and headed for Sam's corner where we all chomped down on the traditional hot dog and fries - YUMMY!! After we did some more shopping at the Hammock Shops in Pawleys Island. Then we headed home - we had our share of ups and downs but all in all it was a great weekend and I am glad Linda and Jack went with us - we love you guys and are thankful for your friendship!
