hristmas with them. Unfortunately on Thursday my stepmother was stricken with the stomach flu and we had to make last minute sleeping arrangements. Thanks to a friend of theirs from church we were able to rent a 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin in the mountains - it was absolutely beautiful! We arrived Friday night and had dinner with PawPaw and then we went to the cabin - Greenwood. After, we drove to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and saw all the lights - the lights in Patriot Park are fantastic - the Statue of Liberty, the Liberty Bell, the eagle, Challenger, and the men putting the flag up at Iwo Jima! After we went walking around the village in Gatlinburg and then drove back to the cabin and settled in for the night.Saturday morning, we celebrated Christmas and exchanged gifts. Red received 2 FurReal animals. If you have not seen these I suggest you go to the nearest toy store and check one out. They look like a plain stuffed animal, however, they respond to touch. I wanted one after playing with hers! After gifts and breakfast we went to The Christmas Place - I was in heaven. Good thing I know how to control my spending otherwise we would be broke right now! I could have bought everything in there! Next stop was the funnel cake and ice cream shop to stuff ourselves silly! I know I know - funnel cakes are a bazillion points on WW but hey it's Christmas! While in the shop it began raining so we decided to wander over to an indo
or mirror maze. It was hilarious - we were all laughing and running into mirrors! For the rest of the afternoon since it was raining we tooled around town a bit. Dinner was at The Applewood Grill - YUMMY! After dinner we drove around some more and saw more lights. It was a fun packed busy weekend - we just hate that BoBo was not feeling well and was unable to join us. Thank you again PawPaw and BoBo - we had a GREAT weekend and WE LOVE YOU!!!
