We had kind of a rough start to the day. Red had been up all night coughing and not feeling well until daddy took her downstairs and slept in his chair while she slept on the sofa. Thank you daddy - you are wonderful and such a blessing to this family! Once we all were up and moving Red went to the doctor and we are now dealing with our second bout of strep since August. The worst part was seeing her get upset when she found out she wasn't allowed to go to her end of season soccer party to celebrate taking 2nd place in their division. Later that afternoon, P'nut was moving at 100 miles an hour and her mouth was moving right along with her. She was talking about anything and everything to the point no one could get a word in edge wise (have to say she does get it honestly). Finally while Red was helping me put up dishes she looked at me and said, "Momma, I know what we can do to get P'nut to quit talking? We can put a piece of duct tape over her mouth!" All I could do was laugh because the comment came out of the blue and she was serious!
The next day P'nut had her turn at getting back at her big sister. Red was playing a game on the Wii and could not find something on one of the screens. She looked at me and said "Am I going crazy?" to which P'nut replied simply "Yes, you are!" Once again all I could do was laugh. I am so thankful for our girls - they bring so much laughter and so many times it is at the moment we need it most! Thank you Lord for blessing me with 2 beautiful girls and a wonderful husband. Lord - you know I am so undeserving of it but you blessed me with it anyways and for that I am forever grateful!
